American actress Blake Lively was born in Los Angeles, California.

Following in her parents’ and sibling’s footsteps, she ventured into the world of acting.

Lively bagged her acting debut role of Trixie the Tooth Fairy in the musical movie Sandman, directed by her father, Ernie Lively.

It is pertinent to mention; the now 37-year-old was up to finishing high school when she got the co-starring role of Bridget in the 2005 movie The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants.

After reprising the role of Bridget in the 2008 sequel, the Green Lantern actress went back to high school for the completion of her senior year.

Blake Lively showed off her incredible acting chops in the movie The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants which earned her a Teen Choice Award nomination.

Later in 2006 Lively co-starred with Justin Long in Accepted and also grabbed minor roles in the horror film, Simon Says.

Although Accepted was not well received by fans and critics alike, her performance led her to earn a Breakthrough Award.

Furthermore, Lively further got into the character for the 2007 movie Elvis and Anabelle and then proceeded to star in the famous Gossip Girl from 2007 to 2012.

Blake Lively met the love of her life Ryan Reynolds on the sets of Green Lantern in 2010.

Early on during the interaction, they were best buddies and even went on double dates with other people.

A year later the duo began dating. Since then, they have shared sweet moments together on the red carpets as well as on social media.

Blake Lively, who is a doting mother to four kids James, Inez, Betty and Olin, is currently caught up in a legal battle against her It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni.
