Chloe Fineman has addressed her exit from Saturday Night Live with an emotional message for fans.
The comedian shared a heartfelt Instagram post as she revealed details about her exit from the long running show.
She began her post, writing, "After 7 wonderful seasons at SNL I have decided it’s time for my next chapter."
She went on to add, "It's really hard to leave SNL but it does feel like the right time. I’m going to miss it a lot."
She concluded her note, writing, "But the people who work there are my family and that place is my home, and I know I’ll never be too far away. And I swear to God, one day, sometime in the future, they WILL make lipstick for thicc dogs."
Meanwhile, the actress has become the first SNL star to leave the series before the next season.
Following Yang's mid-season exit in Season 51, the show is expected to finalize its cast in early September, although no new members have been confirmed so far.
