Andy Whyment has shared a glimpse into family life after taking his daughter, Hollie, to the ITV soap's Trafford Wharf Studios for a work experience placement.
The 45-year-old actor, who has portrayed fan-favourite Kirk Sutherland since joining the long-running soap in 2000, documented the day in a TikTok video.
Hollie was shown exploring the famous Weatherfield set, visiting different production departments and watching scenes being filmed—though her father assured fans there were "no spoilers."
Sharing the experience online, Whyment said he enjoyed showing his daughter how the programme comes together behind the scenes, adding that he even learned a few new things himself.
According to People, the pair were also seen sharing laughs in the wardrobe department as Hollie got an insider's look at television production.
Fans were quick to praise the father-daughter outing, with many commenting that Hollie appeared to be having the time of her life.
Moreover, others suggested she could eventually pursue a career in acting and one day join her father on screen.
Whyment has become one of Coronation Street's longest-serving cast members through his portrayal of the lovable but accident-prone Kirk Sutherland.
The actor married wife Nicola in 2007, and the couple share two children, Thomas and Hollie.
