Erin Bates is looking ahead with hope after revealing she remains open to expanding her family despite enduring a life-threatening medical crisis following the birth of her seventh child.

During a recent Instagram Q&A, the 35-year-old reality TV personality responded to a fan who asked whether she and husband Chad Paine wanted more children.

Erin said that if health were not a concern, her answer would be "without a doubt, yes," adding that the couple considers raising children their "highest calling."

Bringing Up Bates star also shared that adoption could be a possibility in the future.

The couple welcomed son Henry Blythe in August 2025, their seventh child together.

Soon after giving birth, Erin developed a severe urinary tract infection and kidney infection that led to septic shock, requiring intensive care treatment, as per People

Days later, she suffered a lengthy seizure, leaving her with temporary loss of function in her right leg.

After nearly three weeks in hospital, Erin returned home to continue her recovery surrounded by her husband and children.

In a later update, she celebrated taking her first steps since the seizure, describing the emotional milestone as a testament to her faith and the support she received from loved ones and followers.

Furthermore, Erin and Chad are parents to seven children: sons Charles Steven IV, William Gage and Henry Blythe, and daughters Brooklyn Elise, Everly Hope, Holland Grace and Finley Marie.
