Angelina Jolie set to embark on new phase in life away from Hollywood

Angelina Jolie is all set to embark on new phase in life away from Hollywood following her divorce from Brad Pitt in December 2024.

The American actress, who has six children with ex Brad, reveals that she’s ready to “experience the world with them and move on from their life in California.

A source tells People magazine, “She’s been talking about leaving Los Angeles for years.”

“She’s happy to have more freedom and flexibility in her life,” says an insider.

They explain that the “kids have always been her priority”.

Interestingly, the source points out that Angelina reportedly “wanted them to experience the world and she’s excited that they can all do more of that together now”.

“She’s ready for it,” remarks an insider.

This is not the first time Angelina expresses her wish to be away from the industry.

The Maleficent actress previously spoke to The Hollywood Reporter that even though she grew up in Los Angeles, she was living in the city because of her divorce proceedings.

However, Angelina told the outlet that after her kids Vivienne and Knox would turn 18, she would be able to leave.

At the time, the Oscar winner stated, “When you have a big family, you want them to have privacy, peace, safety.”

“I have a house now to raise my children, but sometimes this place can be that humanity that I found across the world is not what I grew up with here,” added Angelina.
