Britney Spears recently faced fresh family rift after skipping her sons’ runway debut at Paris Fashion Week.
The source close to the Toxic singer revealed that two sons, Sean Preston, 20, and Jayden Spears, 19, were annoyed that their mother missed their big debut even though they tried to repair their relationship following her self-destructive behaviour.
An insider told Radar Online, “They considered her no-show a huge kick in the teeth.”
A second source mentioned that her sons were not satisfied with her mother Britney's excuse, who shared that she had a fear of airplanes.
They explained that the songstress flies all over the world but her sudden decision to stay grounded in Los Angeles and miss a moment that was important to each of them, made her sons frustrated.
“They made it clear to her beforehand – numerous times – it would have meant the world to them if she'd been there to cheer them on,” pointed out an insider.
For the unversed, Britney’s sons have been raised by former backup dancer father Kevin Federline following their divorce.
However, the singer’s betrayal finally created a new clash between Britney and her sons.
The source went on saying, “To them, it seems like she's intent on starting over as a parent and seeing them when it's easy for her.”
“They're furious after the efforts they've made for her. So, they've built the wall they had to keep their mom out – and she's only got herself to blame,” they added.
