Actress Priyanka Chopra recalls their first online exchange before their relationship turns romantic
Priyanka Chopra has revealed an interesting detail about her first conversations with husband Nick Jonas.
While speaking on the podcast, the global star remembered the moment her better half asked for proof that it was really her.
In an episode of the Hey Jonas podcast, hosted by Nick Jonas and his brothers Joe Jonas and Kevin Jonas, the actress stated, “He wanted to corroborate it was actually me.”
She added, “So he asked me for a photo [in] that moment looking at the camera with a time stamp.”
“I was like, ‘That is so sus of me already.’ But I appreciated it too,” she continued.
While discussing their early days, the brothers recalled how Nick initiated contact by messaging the Miss World 2000 pageant on social media after seeing her billboard appearance.
Joe later revealed the first message Nick sent to Priyanka, in which he wrote, “Hello, I’ve heard from a few people that we should meet. I have to agree with these people. Are you in LA anytime soon?”
The actress responded to Nick’s message, writing, “Hey.. Graham’s told me so much about you..Let’s text. More private. My team can access this.”
Nick and Priyanka tied the knot in December 2018 and welcomed their daughter, Malti Marie, in 2022.
