Blake Lively breathes sigh of relief amid Justin Baldoni controversy

Blake Lively has finally found a breather amid It Ends With Us director Justin Baldoni legal drama.

The American actress has turned to her Instagram Stories and posts a cover image of the 2025 NatGeo documentary Secrets of the Penguins, celebrating the project, that secured big nominations for the upcoming Emmy Awards.

Interestingly, the three-episode National Geographic documentary reportedly scored Emmy nominations for Outstanding Nature Documentary which is also available on Disney.

Blake reveals what it really meant to her, as she writes in the caption, “So honoured to have been a part of this beautiful story.”

“Congratulations to the incredible team who worked so hard and with such care,” continues the 38-year-old actress.

The Gossip Girl star notes, “Braving extreme conditions to capture these awe-inspiring creatures in never-before-seen moments on film.”

Blake mentions, “I narrated this for my kids. Both in how I told the story. And why. It came at a time that my heart needed it most.”

The Age of Adaline actress points out that her and Ryan Reynolds’ kids “love to fall asleep to nature shows”.

“Nothing more comforting and divine than these sweet babies,” she said of the penguins.

Blake adds, “This series holds such a special place in my heart. and my home.”

For those unversed, A Simple Favor actress narrated the National Geographic documentary series, Secrets of the Penguins, which premiered in April last year.
