Lewis Hamilton breaks silence with emotional tribute message

Lewis Hamilton has offered fans a touching glimpse into his recent holiday with girlfriend Kim Kardashian, sharing intimate family moments alongside a heartfelt reminder to cherish loved ones following the death of Kim's beloved grandmother.

The 41-year-old Ferrari Formula 1 star posted a collection of photos and videos from the couple's peaceful lakeside escape in Idaho, just as news emerged that Kim's grandmother, Mary Jo "MJ" Shannon, had died at the age of 91.

Alongside the emotional carousel, Lewis simply wrote: "Hold your people close," a message that struck a chord with followers as the Kardashian family mourned the loss of its matriarch.

Among the snaps was a romantic picture of Lewis and the 45-year-old socialite gazing into each other's eyes while holding hands. 

Another clip captured the playful side of their relationship, showing the pair bursting into laughter before tumbling into a lake together.

The album also featured a quiet countryside walk, with Lewis wrapping an arm around the reality TV star, as well as a sweet family photo with Kim and two of her children, Chicago and Psalm, whom she shares with ex-husband Kanye West.

The SKIMS founder responded to Lewis' post with a simple heart emoji, while also paying an emotional tribute to her late grandmother on social media.

Describing MJ as her "best friend", "gossip buddy" and "forever twin", Kim reflected on the life lessons her grandmother had passed down, crediting her with teaching the values of hard work, confidence and the importance of family.

She also revealed that MJ secretly kept up with the family's social media posts through a private Instagram account, adding a light-hearted touch to an otherwise emotional farewell.
