Ryan Reynolds recently shared special Mother’s Day tribute to his wife Blake Lively on May 10.
The Deadpool & Wolverine star praised his wife’s bravery on his Instagram Stories six days after she reached legal settlement with It Ends With Us director-actor Justin Baldoni.
“I appreciate this mother beyond measure,” wrote the 49-year-old in the caption alongside photos of the couple lounging on chairs next to each other as they posed near a waterfall.
Gushing over Gossip Girl alum, Ryan said, “She is kind. She is fearless.”
The Free Guy actor, who tied the knot with Blake in September 2012, added, “She's the absolute love of my life and to our four little kids, she's the life of their love."
The post came after the actress made public appearance on May 4, when she made a comeback to the Met Gala wearing an archival Atelier Versace gown from spring 2006 and a handbag that included artwork by her kids.
Speaking to Vogue on the event’s red carpet, A Simple Favour actress mentioned that her “kids each painted a watercolor painting”.
“Each of my four kids did this, so I have them with me, because I'm shy too, so I just like to have the kids with me. Isn't that special?” remarked the 38-year-old.
However, Blake stated, “I probably could have fit them under my dress, to be honest. I should have snuck them under there.”
