Sandra Bullock celebrates first Mother’s Day since her debut on Instagram

Sandra Bullock recently celebrated Mother’s Day with a heartfelt tribute to her family in her social media post.

The Speed actress took to Instagram on May 10 and shared three rare photos, featuring her late grandmother, mother, Helga Meyer and her children.

The first picture is with her grandma and a second with her mom and sister Gesine Bullock-Prado.

“To all the mamas, no matter how you came to be, Happy Mother’s Day. We are all bound by this honour of a lifetime,” wrote the 61-year-old in the caption.

Sandra also apologised to her mother and grandma for being a “brat” during her early years of life.

“Mom and Omi, thank you for teaching me. We miss you. Sorry I was such a brat,” added the Miss Congeniality actress.

For the unversed, The Practical Magic star adopted both her children Laila and Louis, whom she raised along with her longtime partner Bryan Randall before his death in 2023.

Fellow celebrities including Lily Collins dropped love in the comment section, saying, “Thank you for being my first on screen mama. Forever grateful for you.”

Mindy Kaling remarked, “Sandy why are you making me cry it's 730.”

Olivia Munn mentioned, “To love and be loved.”

Some fans also wished the actress under the post, as one wrote, “Happy Mother’s Day Sandra we love you.”

Another stated, “Happy Mother’s Day to an amazing single mother of two awesome kids.”
