Sandra Bullock confesses she prioritises children over her acting career

Sandra Bullock has recently made bold declaration about motherhood and acting career.

The actress is returning to big screen with her cos-star Nicole Kidman in the upcoming Practical Magic 2 movie.

During her promotions, Sandra shares her thoughts while speaking at CNBC’s Changemakers Summit on April 18.

Miss Congeniality actress, who is a mother to two children, reveals what made her take a lengthy hiatus from acting.

Sandra says that motherhood took over the priority over acting, stating, “I made this film at this time because I knew my kids were out of school. I’m not going to sacrifice my children’s time — my time — with my kids.”

“They’d be happy if I was gone,” remarks the 61-year-old.

The Lost City actress points out, “I would not… And I do not do my best work if my children are struggling or if they need something.”

Meanwhile, Sandra mentions that she’s lucky she has that choice.

“I have the luxury of doing that in this business. So many people don’t. And I understand that grief… when you are at work going, ‘I’m not where I need to be right now,’” adds the actress.
