Cynthia Erivo pauses show after 'disrespect' during 'Dracula'

Cynthia Erivo has finally moved on from her Wicked phase as she embraced Dracula, seemingly developing sharp senses.

In a recent show, the 39-year-old actress instantly stopped the show as she felt something was not right.

The Hollywood A-list star paused when she sensed someone from the audience is breaking a cardinal rule of watching theatre.

According to a report, Cynthia got the feeling that she was being recorded which made her stop the performance.

One of the X users appreciated the star for the move, pointing out that “it’s so disrespectful to those on stage and the audience near the person filming.”

Another netizen was of the opinion that “some ppl have no decorum,” while a third penned down on the social media platform: “We applaud her.”

This came after The Outsider star revealed that she is working on a new project which requires her to learn a new language.

Keeping majority of the details under the cover, Cynthia revealed that she is going to travel somewhere else to shoot the movie which is expected to be in a different language.

While admitting it’s not a musical, the star revealed that she will be singing in the project as well.
