Jimmy Kimmel did not shy away from igniting a fierce controversy after President Donald Trump was revealed to a target in shooting incident.
After the 58-year-old made a remark about Melania having a “glow” of an “expectant widow,” the First Lady asked for his removal from the job.
However, the host decided to give a witty response to the former model.
He opened the show, announcing: “You know how sometimes you wake up in the morning and the first lady puts out a statement demanding you be fired from your job?
The star joked about the situation, declaring: “We’ve all been there, right?”
Jimmy seemingly does not fear getting kicked out of the famous show as he already faced suspension for a brief period of time in September.
Charlie Kirk, a famous conservative political activist, was assassinated during a Utah event which sparked a reaction from Jimmy as well.
He faced backlash for calling the assassination “political points” scoring, calling out the “MAGA gang” for allegedly framing the accused for the murder of the influencer.
This was deemed insensitive and raised eyebrows. Donald Trump also responded to the remark and his show was later suspended for some time.
It is to be noted that Jimmy sent his love to the family of late Charlie, condemning the attack.
