Megan Thee Stallion has recently made shocking decision after her painful breakup from NBA star Klay Thompson.
The rapper decides to exit from musical Broadway after she will give her last performance in Moulin Rouge! The Musical on May 1.
The Grammy winner has become the first female-identifying performer to play Harold Zidler in the Moulin Rouge! The Musical worldwide, beginning March 24.
Taking to Instagram on April 27, Megan shares behind-the-scene glimpses of the show with her team and friends.
Captioning the post, the rapper writes, “My last performance as Zidler in @moulinrougebway will be May 1.”
“It’s been such an honour to be part of thee Moulin Rouge family and I’ve met so many amazing people in this theatre,” says the 31-year-old.
Megan also credits her team for the hard work they put in to bring the show on stage.
“I have so much respect for the dedication, the stamina, the work ethic, the time and the effort y’all put into the work!” she notes.
Megan expresses her gratitude to the cast and crew “that made this experience so meaningful”.
Before concluding, the rapper adds, “To all the Hotties that showed up or planned to attend, thank you for supporting me during this incredible journey! I LOVE YALL… See you soon.”
The move comes after personal and professional drama for rapper during the show’s run.
She went to the treatment for medical evaluation after experiencing symptoms like dehydration, exhaustion, vasoconstriction and low metabolic levels, making her sick.
Later this weekend, Megan announces on IG that she and her boyfriend had split up due to his unfaithful nature.
