Megan Thee Stallion’s Broadway debut has been met with an unfortunate incident as the rapper has been forced to take a step back from it.

The 31-year-old played the character of Zidler in Moulin Rouge! The Musical for an eight-week engagement, starting in March, but now her spokesperson, as well as her hairstylist have taken to social media to share some unfortunate news.

A statement issued by the Otaku Hot Girl singer’s representative read, “During Tuesday night’s production [of Moulin Rouge! The Musical], Megan started feeling very ill and was promptly transported to a local hospital, where her symptoms are currently being evaluated.”

"We will share additional updates as more information becomes available," it continued, as her stylist Kellon Deryck took to X to ask fans for prayers for Megan as they waited on her at the hospital.

Meanwhile a news correspondent Loren LoRosa also took to the platform to detail all that happened at the on Tuesday since she was an audience member.

Loren wrote that the Wanna Be musician did appear onstage for a few opening scenes, before the show abruptly paused and she apologised left the show and was replaced by an understudy.

Notably, the cause and nitty gritty of what precisely happened to Megan’s health has not been revealed because the singer is likely undergoing treatment and evaluation.
