Erika Krik has been through a lot since her husband was assassinated in broad day light during a Utah event in September.
The 37-year-old was one of those invited at the White House correspondents’ dinner that was held few days ago.
After fleeing from the venue safely, the former model broke her silence to address the gunfire incident which reportedly had the motive to target President Donald Trump.
She turned to her X (formerly Twitter) account to make a shocking announcement about seemingly disappearing from the spotlight.
Erika was of the opinion that the situation that unfolded on Saturday “was yet another traumatic example of the evil in out country.”
The CEO called it a “continued rise in political violence” before announcing that she is “taking time to spend with my family.”
However, the hiatus from political events is not permanent as she “will be joining The Charlie Kirk Show” on Wednesday at 12PM ET.
Despite going through hard times, she will be briefly addressing “what took place,” adding: “Enough is enough.”
Erika became a widow after Charlie, a conservative political activist, was killed with a sniper shot. Donald Trump was deeply saddened by the update.
He honoured the departed soul by announcing flags to Half-Staff on September 14, 2025.
