Tom Hardy’s reason behind major career break revealed

Tom Hardy recently took a major acting career after wrapping up his latest crime drama MobLand season 2.

Media reports suggest that the action star would be taking a break to be with his loved ones and primarily for rest because of his demanding physical roles he had played in movies and TV shows.

A source spilled to Daily Mail that Tom “plans to take a sabbatical” which can last for several years.

His physical roles like in Venom, Mad Max: Fury Road and Taboo took a toll on Tom as he finished filming the second series for MobLand.

Interestingly, Tom told Esquire last year that he “had two knee surgeries now, my disc’s herniated in my back, I’ve got sciatica as well… It’s all falling to bits now, and it’s not going to get better”.

It is pertinent to note that no release date has been disclosed but fans are waiting for the TV show as the first season was a major success when it dropped last year.

Meanwhile, Tom, who is married to Charlotte Riley and shares two children, wanted to stay away from the spotlight.

An industry insider pointed out, “Tom is one of the busiest men in the filming industry.”

“Charlotte must never see him, but now she won’t be able to get enough of him,” added a source.
