Paul Wesley breaks silence on low-key nuptials with Natalie Kuckenburg
‘Vampire Diaries’ star, who was first linked with Natalie in 2022, announce their engagement in July 2025
Paul Wesley recently reflected on his wedding with model Natalie Kuckenburg.
The Vampire Diaries alum, who announced his nuptials with 26-year-old last month, finally spoke to Entertainment Tonight at the 2026 San Diego Comic-Con.
Wesley opened up that the wedding was last-minute decision which is why he eloped.
“I just got married, yeah, eloped,” the 44-year-old told ET.
The Star Trek: Strange New Worlds actor further said, “We were planning a big wedding, and then we were like let’s just get legally married.”
“We were waiting for a cancellation at the Santa Barbara courthouse because it’s such a beautiful courthouse,” he continued.
However, Wesley shared that the venue “was booked out for three months, and we found a cancellation the night before”.
The actor, who was first linked back in 2022 and engaged last July, went on saying, “Natalie is so amazing.”
“She found a dress that day, and then we ended up literally doing everything, hiring the photographer,” pointed out Wesley.
The actor added, “Everything was [done] the day before, and it was so special because, because it was so spontaneous, it made it more special. It was just us and our dog. It was amazing.”
