Rebecca Ferguson has revealed that fans have already seen her entire role in Dune: Part Three confirming that her appearance in the highly anticipated sequel is limited to a single scene.
Speaking to Extra TV the actress who reprises her role as Lady Jessica said, "I've got one scene and you've seen it. It's literally in the trailer."
The scene featured in the trailer shows Paul Atreides played by Timothée Chalamet seeking his mother's advice as he struggles with the devastating consequences of the holy war fought in his name.
Jessica responds with the chilling line "Your father never started a war."
Set 17 years after the events of Dune: Part Two the upcoming film follows Paul as he rules the galaxy as emperor after his followers conquered rival factions, leaving billions dead.
Alongside Chalamet the film sees the return of Zendaya, Florence Pugh, Javier Bardem, and Anya Taylor-Joy while Robert Pattinson joins the cast as the shape-shifting villain Scytale.
While the first film explored Paul's introduction to Arrakis and the second focused on war Villeneuve says the trilogy's conclusion will play more like a tense political thriller with the emotional core centred on Paul and Chani's relationship.
Dune: Part Three is scheduled to hit theatres on December 18 where it is set to open alongside Avengers: Doomsday in one of the year's biggest box office clashes.
