Jonah Hill is all set to make a comedy comeback after taking a hiatus from Hollywood.
The American actor made a surprise appearance on SiriusXM’s Smartless Live event in Los Angeles where Jonah points out how he has a different mindset.
“I've been gone for a while, so I'm kind of coming back and I'm like excited because I got all, like, serious for a while and I wasn't as happy,” he tells The Hollywood Reporter.
Interestingly, Superbad actor notes that he had his family and got happy and “now all I want to do is to be funny again”.
“That's why I said yes (to being on SmartLess). I'm, like, I want to be funny in front of a crowd and that'd be awesome,” adds the 42-year-old.
Elsewhere in the interview, Jonah shares why he left Los Angeles along with his wife Olivia Millar and their two sons.
“I live in a very small town in San Diego, and it's amazing, and my neighbours are incredible people,” states the Maniac star.
Jonah tells THR, “I wanted to leave L.A. and raise a family outside of Los Angeles.”
Meanwhile, the actor admits that he gets the desire to return to entertainment industry after becoming a parent.
