Madonna faces 'embarrassment' due to Addison Rae: Watch

Madonna announced her new album and appeared recently to promote the project along with Addison Rae at The Abbey Nightclub.

The 67-year-old singer was seen dancing while the TikTok star-turned pop icon Addison performed with a mask on.

In a now viral video, the Popular hitmaker paused dancing as a man approached her and whispered in her ears.

She instantly moved forward and tried getting microphone from the Obsessed crooner. 

Instead of handing it over, Addison seemingly ignored the star and continued performing.

The moment went viral online with many poking fun at the legend. One X user was of the opinion that the incident was a “second-hand embarrassment.”

Another admirer pointed out: “Why is Madonna so obsessed with wanting to fit in with Gen Z.”

A third netizen supported Madonna, writing on the social media platform: “I don’t blame her. That poor Britney [Spears] copy is unbearable.”

The Material Girl crooner recently made a surprise appearance at the Coachella 2026 during the set of Sabrina Carpenter.

Is Madonna releasing an album?

She announced a new album Confessions II which will be her 15th studio record. 

The project serves as a sequel to Confessions on a Dance Floor which topped Billboard 200 chart in 2005.
