Jimmy Kimmel pokes fun at Donald Trump 'assassination' attempt

Jimmy Kimmel, after getting his show suspended for a brief period of time, did not shy away from poking fun at a dangerous situation that unfolded recently.

A gunfire was heard at the latest White House correspondents’ dinner which had President Donald Trump, JD Vance and others in attendance.

In a new video, the 58-year-old made a parody monologue at the prestigious political event. He took over the dise to announce: “Our first lady Melania is here, so beautiful.”

After the camera panned at her, the night live host stated: “Mrs. Trump, you have a glow like an expectant widow.”

The roast was deemed diabolical as the 79-year-old was present at the dinner where a man opened fire, likely targetting people of administration.

One of the X users asked the politician to follow in the footsteps of Will Smith, joking: “It would be funny if Trump just smack the sh*t out of Jimmy Kimmel.”

Another netizen was of the opinion that the host “filed a risk assessment live on air.”

Meanwhile, a third user expressed support for the president of the United States, calling Jimmy “a disgusting evil human, he’s not going to heaven.”

In September 2025, his show Jimmy Kimmel Live! faced suspension by ABC after the host shared a statement on Charlie Kirk’s assassination at the Utah event.
