Rebecca Black replies to Jaafar Jackson’s old tweet with Kanye mention

Rebecca Black has taken to her social media to respond to an old tweet by Jaafar Jackson in which he mentions her.

The singer made light of the situation of the statement the Michael actor made in 2011 in which he asked Kanye West to recreate the viral MTV awards show moment with Taylor Swift with the Saturday singer.

“Roses are red, violets are blue, if Rebecca Black wins ANY awards, Kanye you know what to do..” Jaafar had written at the time.

In response now, Rebecca replied “the concept of k*nye taking my teen choice award surfboard and giving it to shane dawson” adding in a later post on X, “alright but u were fierce in michael tho.”

The singer was referring to the time that she won the Choice Web Star award at the 2011 Teen Choice Awards on August 7, 2011 for her viral song Friday for which she did end up beating YouTuber Shane Dawson.

Rebecca’s response has gone viral on X, with internet users writing things such as “Girl it was hundred years ago. You’re irrelevant now and this won’t get you another gig.”

Another wrote, “Bro why is she digging up old tweets a 14 year old boy made,” with a crying emoji as a third remarked “jaafar jackson, kanye, rebecca black, and shane in the same tweet.”
