Steve Carell makes rare comment about Timothée Chalamet
‘The Office’ star reveals greatest actors of all time in a new interview
Steve Carell, who is known for his sitcom The Office, is in awe of his Beautiful Boy costar Timothée Chalamet after so many years.
The American actor sits together with former football star David Beckham for a new show, GOAT Talk, where he breaks down his greatest TV shows, actors, football moments and best snacks.
Interestingly, Carell reveals names whom he considers the best actors of all time in his latest interview.
Evan Almighty actor names Chalamet as one of the GOAT actors as he recalls his audition for 2018 movie, Beautiful Boy.
“He walked out the door and we all looked at each other and said 'That's [it], everybody else can kind of go home right now,’” said the 63-year-old while speaking to Beckham.
Other fellow actors who he thinks are fantastic in their craft includes Julianne Moore, Amy Adams and Leonardo DiCaprio, who Carell sums up “is just good in everything”.
Elsewhere in the chat show, the Crazy, Stupid, Love actor also discusses TV shows, saying, Breaking Bad is one of the best TV show he’s ever seen.
“I could not believe how it was consistent and it grew as well as these characters developed over time. They clearly had an endgame at the very beginning. It was a perfect show,” adds Carell.
