Ryan Reynolds recently appeared to lean on A-list celebrity amid his rough patch.
An industry insider spilled to InTouch Weekly that Ryan is still in touch with The Proposals co-star and rumoured ex-girlfriend Sandra Bullock to revive his acting career.
“Ryan's special relationship with Sandra is a trump card he hasn't had to pull yet during all the crazy legal battles of the last 20 months over It Ends With Us and the fight between Blake and Justin Baldoni,” the source said to the outlet.
Another insider stated, “He and Sandra have always had plans to work together again.”
They explained, “Ryan and Blake count Sandra as a long-term ally, and if Ryan ever needs something from Sandra, he knows he has a favour there that he hasn't called in yet.”
However, a first source pointed out that people are eager to work with Sandra and a Proposal sequel, or a similar project pairing the actress with Ryan would not be a hard movie to get made.
“Ryan has rebuilding to do and he knows Sandra will be there to help,” they added.
