Josie Gibson opens up about rebuilding relationship between son Reggie, his father

Josie Gibson has shared a rare update about her family life, revealing that her seven-year-old son, Reggie, is reconnecting with his father after years of limited contact.

The This Morning presenter explained that although Reggie’s father had been absent from much of his life, the pair are now making an effort to rebuild their relationship. 

Gibson said she believes it is important for her son to have the opportunity to know both of his parents, despite the challenges they have faced in the past.

The television personality, who has largely kept details of her personal life private, admitted that the situation has not always been easy. 

However, she expressed hope that the renewed contact would have a positive impact on Reggie as he grows older.

According to Daily Mail, Gibson emphasized that her priority has always been her son’s wellbeing and happiness. 

She said she wants Reggie to develop meaningful relationships with the people who are important in his life, adding that she is supportive of efforts to strengthen the father-son bond.

Since welcoming Reggie in 2018, Gibson has often spoken about the realities of raising him as a single mother while balancing a busy television career.

Moreover, she has previously credited her family for providing support and helping her navigate the demands of parenthood alongside her work commitments.
