Olivia Culpo reveals emotional update before baby no. 2

Olivia Culpo has a plan in place for welcoming her second child, and it looks different from the first time around.

Now in her third trimester, the model admitted in a TikTok GRWM (Get Ready with Me) video shared on Thursday, July 23, that she has been feeling emotional as her husband, San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey, returns for the NFL season.

"Christian's leaving for the season. So sad," she said. 

"Everything feels overwhelming. Plan is I'm having a C-section because I had a C-section in July last year, so having a VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean) wasn’t an option."

She also revealed that the procedure has been scheduled on one of McCaffrey's lighter workdays.

"Basically, it's on an off day for him, so he’ll be able to come just for the birth. And then aside from that, he’ll have to go back. So it’s gonna be different than my first birth."

She added that she is "grateful" for her "village and large security detail" while managing the postpartum period. 

The couple, who married in June 2024, announced they were expecting their second child in May.
