Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, finally made history with his music comeback as he took over the stage for his fans.
The 49-year-old achieved a major milestone as he was crowned the first rapper to have a record sales of more than 70,000 tickets for a single concert in the United States.
He broke the record for holding “the highest grossing concert” ever in his genre, accumulating upto $16.3 million with his shows that took place at SoFi Stadium.
The I Wonder hitmaker previously put up a show in the country with Vultures listening experiences in April 2024 and last concert in 2021 in Chicago.
While the fans of the Grammy winner celebrated the achievement, many netizens slammed him for being able to make history as they recalled his past controversial tweets and moves of 2025.
One of the netizen was of the opinion that “men really can get away with anything,” while another user was confused as they asked: “But cancel culture was destroying lives?”
He made a comeback with a new album BULLY, releasing music videos which were directed by his wife Bianca Censori.
The videos were applauded for carrying a unique essence despite being called bizarre by few.
