Blake Lively has attached monetary worth to the losses she suffered in the aftermath of Justin Baldoni’s alleged smear campaign.
The It Ends With Us actress claims that the actor’s use of phrases and language used to damage her reputation has taken a significant financial toll on her.
As per court documents filed on April 17, the Gossip Girl alum has experienced a loss in potential income of “approximately $36.5 to $40.5 million” due to the Five Feet Apart director’s alleged use of “the retaliatory phrases ‘tone deaf,’ ‘bully,’ and ‘mean girl.'”
Lively cited her expert Dr. Ashlee Humphreys, professor of marketing communications, and claimed that Baldoni’s lawyer Bryan Freedman’s “retaliatory” statements throughout their feud have cost her “in an amount calculated at $24,375,267.”
The actress is seeking the whopping amount between $250,000 and $400,000 for the “pain and suffering, physical pain, and humiliation” she allegedly suffered as a result of the alleged smear campaign.
Lively’s amount includes the deficit her companies Betty Booze and Blake Brown have incurred amid the legal battle.
Notably, the mother-of-four’s demand in terms of seeking over $290 million in damages has seen a massive raise frim her claims last year when she alleged that the orchestrated smear campaign resulted in losses worth $161 million.
