Jaafar Jackson has spoken about the toughest part of playing his uncle Michael Jackson in the upcoming biopic Michael.

In a recent chat, the actor confessed that the most challenging part was learning the powerful dance routines, especially the rapid spins and high energy style of the late King of Pop.

Speaking to Access Hollywood, he admitted that building stamina was harder than expected, saying, “Definitely the spins, which I was struggling with the most out of all the moves.”

He went on to add that the constant repetition of scenes during daily shoots made the experience even more demanding.

“When you’re shooting a movie, you can’t just do it one time. You’re going to do it like 20 to 30 times that day.”

Moreover, he explained, “So, building the stamina was difficult, and making sure that take one and take 25 still have the same energy.”

Directed by Antoine Fuqua, Michael aims to bring the late singer’s story and legacy to the big screen.

Notably, the film is set to release in theatres on April 24.
