Jesy Nelson might have just responded to Perrie Edwards after she asked her bandmate to take accountability for her actions.
The singers shared nine years in the spotlight as Little Mix bandmates alongside Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, but their close bond came to an abrupt end in 2020.
Now the 32-year-old has opened up about the things which annoyed her and fans think Jesy's cryptic message was for her old friend.
Turning to Instagram, the 35-year-old posted her pictures and how she is busy enjoying her time but eagle-eyed viewers pointed out the choice of song she chose for the post.
The lyrics read, "I fold my heart like a letter I’ll never send, read it alone then I start again."
The song continues as, "I rehearse love in a silent room but freeze when it’s real and you step too soon."
This comes after Perrie confessed on the Great Company podcast on June 9 that, "What upsets me the most is when situations like this happen when the other person doesn’t take any accountability."
She also added, "That boils my blood... Take some accountability for your actions and realize you were difficult, you did have difficult moments."
For the unversed, the group went on a two-year hiatus after Jesy left the band suddenly for her well being.
