Amanda Seyfried has opened up about how she had to suffer because she shared her opinion on the internet.
The American singer previously called the late politician, Charlie Kirk, a "hateful person" after he was assassinated.
Now opening up about it in British GQ interview, she admitted that she just experienced a "fraction" of hater.
She revealed that she should be able to voice her opinion but somehow she found herself in a position where she felt like she needs security.
The 40-year-old said, "“A, I’m allowed to f–king voice my feelings, and B, do it in a way that’s not unkind necessarily. But there’s just an outsized fear and hatred and impulse to bash and to tear down,"
She added, "I want my kids to be able to feel safe to voice their opinions as long as they’re not harmful, So I’m like, ‘What do I do? What do I say?’ And then all of a sudden I find myself with a f–king bodyguard at the airport and I’m like, ‘This is crazy.’"
Elsewhere in the interview, Amanda also opened up about the her 2025 movie, Housemaid and her costar, Sydney Sweeney, and hoe she supported her amid rough time.
