Jennifer Lopez details shocking onstage disruption in 2025 concert

Jennifer Lopez is opening up about a dramatic onstage incident that briefly halted her 2025 concert.

During her latest interview, the Let’s Get Loud hitmaker revealed she was mid performance in Almaty when a large insect unexpectedly crawled onto her neck under a single spotlight.

Speaking on the SmartLess podcast released Monday, June 15, the singer reflected on the incident alongside hosts Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett.

She said, “It was like the slow moment in the show, you know. Usually, I'm dancing around and doing the choreography and like a f-----g bikini and a g-string and whipping my hair around and it's a good time.”

She added that the stage was mostly dark except for her, and she had noticed insects earlier in the evening before the moment unfolded.

“And so everything is dark except for me and I'm singing. And as I'm singing, the audience starts screaming,” she continued.

Moreover, she explained that she stayed still to finish her line before reacting, later joking that the insect looked “like a helicopter” when it flew into the light.

Additionally, Lopez admitted the moment was “really horrible” but laughed it off, noting it occurred during her Up All Night: Live in 2025 tour performance.
