Tom Holland recently broke his silence on his marriage rumours to Zendaya for the first time.
The Spider-Man: Brand New Day star addressed the speculations that the longtime couple secretly tied the knot after Zendaya's stylist, Law Roach, said in March that “the wedding has already happened”.
In his latest interview with Esquire magazine, Tom talked about the viral AI photos of him with his new bride on Lake Como, saying that his grandma saw the couple and thought she hadn’t been invited to the wedding.
When asked if he had to send out similar messages to other family members, the Uncharted actor replied, “No, because they were all there.”
Interestingly, Tom seemingly confirmed his marriage to Zendaya, stating, “That's all you'll get on that.”
The Impossible actor, who tries to stay private, made rare comment about his and the actress’ relationship.
“Our business can present very stressful situations and it's really nice to have a bedrock of a relationship that will stand the test of time,” mentioned Tom.
Reflecting on the dynamics of their relationship, The Odyssey actor pointed out that they could “support each other” because they “understand what it’s like to live this life”.
“I think that is such a luxury, because I just don't understand how I would be able to have anything like that with anyone else,” remarked the 30-year-old.
In the end, Tom added, “I found my person. She's my best friend, and I'm the happiest I have ever been when I'm with her, but I have also never felt so supported and safe, ever.”
