Abel Tesfaye has resumed his After Hours til Dawn tour with his show in Mexico City on April 20, 2026.

The 36-year-old singer took the stage and performed some of his biggest hits as his famous persona, The Weeknd.

However, a verse sparked frenzy among his fans as the musician sang: “It’s just one more night and I disappear. Only if it’s just for you and I’ll disappear.”

Admirers were left mourning as they react to the update about him performing as The Weeknd before he disappears forever.

It was reported that the Blinding Lights hitmaker is retiring his famous persona; however, the musician is expected to be introducing a new alter ego.

For few months, Abel has been actively updating his fans about his daily activities through a spam account with a name Gene Hackerman.

While he can be seen playing NieR: Automata and NieR Replicant, Abel is supposedly on to making more music as he shared a cryptic video of himself in the studio.

Previously, the Popular crooner also shared a video without context which featured a static television that reportedly showed his collaborators, including Ariana Grande.

This came after it was revealed that the singer made a huge deal of his discography without giving up the rights to his music.
