The photo set the internet on fire, with netizens storming X and Instagram.

Many were buzzing with excitement, with several calling them their new favourite pairing.

But not everyone was swept up in the romance, with some users side eyeing the timing of the beachside kiss.

One IG user penned, "This is so staged, I live in Los Angeles, it is too cold for an impromptu beach day."

Another simply wrote, "So staged. There is no romance," while a third kept it short, adding, "This is staged af."
