Dwayne Johnson recently made shocking revelation ahead of upcoming live-action Moana release.

The American actor, famously known as The Rock in the wrestling world, took to Instagram on June 19 and posted a video in which he opened up that he was arrested while studying at McKinley High School in Hawaii.

Captioning the post, the Smashing Machine actor wrote, “SURPRISE!! The MAUI @PAPATUI_ TRUCK came bearing gifts for my high school students here in Hawaii - McKinley High School.”

Explaining why he surprised the high school students, Dwayne mentioned that he wanted “to give these students some much-needed love and let them know that I SEE THEM”.

“They’re putting in the summer work and doing the hard thing - and they’re committed to finishing the job completely,” stated the Jungle Cruise actor.

Interestingly, Dwayne also shared his bittersweet experience of studying at McKinley, as he claimed that he was arrested many times from the class in Hawaii.

He continued, “I certainly had my struggles when I was at McKinley, and YES… the cops actually came and arrested me out of class.”

“I was arrested multiple times here in Hawaii and graffiti was one of the lighter infractions I was arrested for,” pointed out the wrestler-turned- actor.

However, Dwayne added that he “straightened up and overcame the odds”.

“Just like my fellow McKinley students can, if they’re struggling to stay on the right track,” concluded the actor.

Meanwhile, Moana is set to release in theatres on July 8.
