Dwyane Wade reveals about Gabrielle Union’s signature scent

Dwyane Wade has shared intimate details about married life with Gabrielle Union, revealing that her carefully curated signature scent has a noticeable emotional impact on him and their relationship.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with People at the Fragrance Foundation Awards in New York City, Wade explained that Union has a distinctive way of blending perfumes, lotions, and body products to create a scent that is uniquely hers. 

He said he is so familiar with her fragrance choices that he can immediately recognize when she has used her favorite combination.

According to People, Wade admitted that the scent does more than just appeal aesthetically, it often signals intimacy and sets the tone for their time together. 

Moreover, he described how certain fragrance cues make him anticipate a romantic evening, highlighting how deeply scent and memory are tied in their relationship.

The retired NBA star, who is now a global ambassador for Aramis’ Intuition fragrance line, also used the opportunity to encourage men to take grooming and fragrance more seriously. 

As per the outlet, he emphasized that personal scent is an extension of confidence and self-expression, joking that no one should be “musty” when better options exist.

Beyond fragrance, Wade also touched on his evolving self-care journey since retiring from basketball, noting that wellness, skincare, and mental health have become central to his lifestyle. 

Furthermore, he credited Union for influencing much of that growth, often outpacing him in her own detailed routines.
