Hulk Hogan’s latest documentary contains some shocking confessions made by the longtime WWE star regarding his life.

The 71-year-old passed away in July of 2025 of a heart attack and a Netflix documentary about the father-of-two titled Hulk Hogan: Real American contained his final interview before his death along with a surprise remark about suicide.

In one of the moments near the end of the documentary, the wrestler, whose family life is a major focal point in the series, confessed how he attempted to salvage his 26-year marriage to his ex-wife Linda and how it lead to the darkest period in his life.

Hulk detailed in the film that his and the 66-year-old’s marriage started falling apart around the time he pitched his family on starring in Hogan Knows Best, which he thought would bring them closer but ended up driving them further apart and into a bitter, public divorce.

“I went home and I started drinking and you know started eating pills, and I just went down this rabbit hole for a couple days and the next thing I know, I'm sitting in front of my bathroom with a gun in my mouth and not knowing what I was doing,” the late star recalled of the aftermath of the fallout.

Hulk added in the episode that he had hit rock bottom and had been generous with Linda so that he wouldn’t have to see her again.
