Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex - Meghan and Harry

Meghan Markle was born on August 4, 1981, in Los Angeles, California, to parents Thomas Markle and Doria Ragland. She began her career as an actress and was best known for her role as Rachel Zane in the initial seven seasons of the American legal TV show Suits. The actress also managed a lifestyle blog, The Tig, from 2014 to 2017, where she covered not just fashion but also other areas like social justice and women’s issues. She went on to marry film producer Trevor Engelson in 2011 but divorced him in 2014.

Meghan became a highly publicised figure with her marriage to Prince Harry in 2018; she received the title of Duchess of Sussex. She subsequently quit her acting career in order to serve as a member of the royal family.

However, in 2020, Meghan and Harry decided to step down as working royals in pursuit of a more private life in the United States. After moving to California, they launched several private projects, including a non-profit organisation called ArcheWell Inc. In addition to this, the couple went on to release a picture book for kids titled The Bench, launch a podcast called Archetypes, and make a Netflix documentary titled Harry & Meghan in December 2022.

However, the podcast did not perform well, and in June 2023, Spotify and the Sussexes' production company, Archewell Audio, revealed they were ending their partnership. But recently she announced her upcoming Netflix series, With Love, filled with tips on cooking, gardening, and entertaining.

Currently, she resides in Montecito, California with Prince Harry and their two children Archie and Lilibet.
