Meghan Markle hopes to reconcile with father

Meghan Markle is reported to finally reconcile with estranged father after he underwent a surgery last week.

On December 2, Thomas Markle was rushed to the hospital where he underwent a three-hour surgery later on Wednesday.

It was later revealed that his leg from below the knee was removed to treat a blood clot. The surgery took place in Cebu, Philippines.

As per new report, Meghan, who has been estranged from her father since she tied the knot with Prince Harry in 2018, hopes to send him a letter, as per People.

On December 5, the outlet reported that Meghan “reached out to her father” after the news of his leg amputation was revealed.

It was also reported that the royal had personally called several hospitals in an effort to locate her father.

The news comes after the estranged father of the royal revealed that his “only” wish is to meet his grandchildren, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

The duchess was only 2 when her parents parted ways and later finalised their divorce in 1987.

Thomas was married to Doria Ragland until 1987.
