William, the Prince of Wales, is the eldest son of King Charles III and the late Princess Diana. Born on June 21, 1982, at St. Mary’s Hospital in London, he is the heir apparent to the British throne.

The Prince attended Eton College and later went to University of St Andrews, where he earned a Master of Arts in Geography. He also met his future wife, Kate Middleton. The two got engaged in October 2010 and finally exchanged vows on 29 April 2011 at Westminster Abbey. Upon marriage, he was granted the title Duke of Cambridge.

William and Kate welcomed their first-born Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge on July 22, 2013 and two years later, the couple were blessed with a daughter, Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana of Cambridge, on May 2, 2015. Catherine then gave birth to their second son Prince Louis Arthur Charles of Cambridge on April 23, 2018.

He got the title of Prince of Wales after his father, King Charles, ascended to the throne in 2022 following the death of his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II.

William represents the monarchy in official duties and engagements across the UK and overseas. His charitable work focuses on issues like mental health, conservation, homelessness, and emergency services. He is closely associated with Tusk Trust, Centrepoint, The Passage, and London’s Air Ambulance Charity.

He had a tough start to 2024 after his father, King Charles, and his wife, Kate Middleton, were diagnosed of cancer. He later described 2024 as a "brutal" year.
