Prince William has been reported to be a major force against Andrew in the royal family amid his scandals.
The Prince of Wales does not want his scandals to taint the legacy of the Crown, given the gravity of the allegations he is facing.
On October 30, the former prince, along with his former wife Sarah Ferguson, lost his royal titles and was notified to vacate their residence of two decades, the Royal Lodge.
Speaking to the Fox News Digital, royal expert Meredith Constant has commented on the ongoing situation and how William is pushing to remove his uncle away from the royal family.
As per the expert, Andrew is also a bone of contention between the future king and King Charles.
“Andrew is one of the issues that father and son do not agree on.” Meredith claimed.
Meredith believed William is “anxious” about Andrew and his proximity with the royal family and does not want the “baggage when he is crowned.”
“Andrew sees himself as the victim. … I’ve maintained from the beginning of Charles’ reign that he and Prince William were not in lockstep, despite write-ups in the U.K. press.” she added.
Andrew, who is now called Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, will move into a property on Sandringham estate that will be privately funded by Charles.
