Prince Andrew

Prince Andrew

Prince Andrew, who had been stripped off his royal titles and patronages in 2022, is no longer a working royal.

The Duke of York’s downfall began soon after he formed connections with the predator, Jeffrey Epstein. Since several years Andrew has been battling the harm from his former friendship with Epstein.

A woman filed a lawsuit against the Duke of York over repeated sexual encounters which Andrew out rightly denied.

This alleged scandal had tarnished the 65-year-old royal family member’s image to the core after which many royal experts dubbed him as the “disgraced royal.”

As a result, he stepped back from his royal duties in 2019.

Let’s dive deep into Andrew’s flourishing career in the navy!

Before his name was tied to Epstein, the dad of two enjoyed a promising career in the navy, serving in the Falklands War.

He also underwent excessive pilot training in both fix-wing aircraft and helicopters.

It is pertinent to mention, through years of military serving, Andrew retired in 2001 with the title of a commander.

By 2015, he had reached the honorary title of Vice admiral.

After his retirement from royal military service, the disgraced royal took up royal duties, where he supported charities and attended events.

For the unversed, outside of his naval career, Prince Andrew’s personal life was a constant roller coaster.

Andrew was married to Sarah Ferguson for six years before eventually separating in 1992.

Despite calling it quits, the couple remained on good terms, lived in the same house and raised two beautiful daughters Eugenie and Beatrice together.
