Tay Lautner is reflecting on a difficult memory from her wedding day, sharing how an invasion of privacy during the celebration left a lasting impact on her.

Speaking on the Unplanned Podcast, Tay revealed that a photographer used a long-lens camera to capture images of her and husband Taylor Lautner during their private “first look” before their November 2022 wedding.

According to Tay, the photos were published online shortly after the ceremony without the couple’s permission, turning a cherished moment into a source of distress.

The lifestyle creator and mental health advocate said the incident marked the first time she truly felt her privacy had been violated.

Unlike paparazzi photos taken at public events, she explained that her wedding was intended to be an intimate occasion shared only with close family and friends.

As per People, Tay admitted the experience left her emotional and upset, recalling that she cried after learning the images had been circulated online.

The experience has also influenced how she and Taylor plan to approach parenthood.

Moreover, the couple, who announced in March that they are expecting their first child and later revealed they are having a baby girl, intend to keep their daughter largely out of the public eye.

Tay said concerns about online exposure and safety have reinforced her desire to protect her child’s privacy.

Taylor and Tay Lautner, who began dating in 2018 and married four years later, have often shared aspects of their lives through their podcast and social media platforms.
