Prince William has reportedly shown his true colours when it comes to how Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie should be treated amid their parents' ongoing scandals.
According to insiders, the future King’s stance is firm, “direct,” and unwavering, as the York sisters have found themselves caught in the crossfire as both Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson face fresh humiliation following explosive new revelations about their long-questioned ties to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Royal watchers wondered whether Beatrice and Eugenie might face repercussions too. Royal author Robert Jobson wrote in Hello! Magazine that insiders say William is exhausted by the “noise” surrounding Andrew’s scandals.
He explained: “Those close to him [William] say he is weary of the hysteria around Andrew. The outrage. The noise. The moral grandstanding. His position is direct: Beatrice and Eugenie must not be punished for their father's alleged sins.”
Jobson added that the action taken against Andrew was not emotional but necessary and coordinated at the very top: “Necessary action was taken – by King Charles, in consultation with his eldest son and heir and it had to be. This is not sentimentality. It is judgment. Accountability belongs to Andrew, not to his daughters.”
Meanwhile, reports recently revealed that Kate Middleotn personally sent invitations to Beatrice and Eugenie for this year’s highly anticipated Christmas carol concert.
Royal commentator Neil Sean told Fox News: “Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie received personal invitations for this year’s ‘Together at Christmas’ from Princess Catherine’s office.”
“This is Catherine’s project, and she has the final say — very similar to the way Prince William operates Earthshot. Above all, yes, the Royal Family wants to be seen as united amid what has been a very difficult year.”
However, he warned that attendance could put the sisters in a tough position: “If they don’t attend, it looks like they’re snubbing a prestigious invite. If they do attend, they know there could be a media circus with them at the centre of attention.”
