Kate Middleton turned heads this weekend as she unveiled a fresh new look while attending Sunday service with Prince William and their children in Scotland.
The Princess of Wales, 42, appeared noticeably blonder as she sat in the passenger seat of the car driven by William to Crathie Kirk, near Balmoral.
Her lighter locks caught the summer sun, sparking speculation over whether she had opted for a dye job or if her usual brunette shade had simply lightened after weeks outdoors.
Kate and William, known in Scotland as the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay, were joined by Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, seven.
Other senior royals, including King Charles, Queen Camilla, Princess Anne and Prince Edward, also attended the traditional service, part of the family’s annual Balmoral summer holiday.
The Wales family is expected to remain in Scotland for the rest of the season before returning to Windsor, where their children attend Lambrook School.
Later this year, they will leave Adelaide Cottage for the larger Forest Lodge, an eight-bedroom mansion described as their “forever home.”
Kate has reportedly already begun planning the interiors of the new £16 million estate, even selecting a 24-seater dining table for future family gatherings.
