Meghan Markle has been likened to Victoria Beckham after sharing a playful Instagram video of Prince Harry surfing in California.
The Duchess of Sussex, 44, posted the 18-second clip last Friday showing Harry riding waves under the Californian sun, captioning it: “We interrupt your regularly scheduled programming to bring you this important message,” alongside a ginger fox emoji.
Brand and culture expert Nick Ede told Express.co.uk the video helps Meghan connect with her audience on a more personal level.
“Meghan posting her video of Harry surfing was a really lovely thing to see. She has fans who have been on her journey and they want to see content like this. It makes her more relatable and shows she’s proud of her husband,” he explained.
Ede compared Meghan’s post to Victoria Beckham’s habit of sharing candid moments of husband David online.
“It gives fans a glimpse into their lives, which everyone wants to see,” he added, noting the timing was perfect ahead of the launch of With Love, Meghan season two.
Fans quickly reacted to the clip on X, with many saying Harry looked to be living his “best life” in California.
