A world-renowned chef has shared her candid thoughts on Meghan Markle’s cooking skills as she prepares to launch the second season of her Netflix series With Love, Meghan.
Clare Smyth, the Northern Irish chef behind the three-Michelin-starred restaurant Core in London, revealed her five-word verdict on Meghan’s culinary abilities: “Actually really good at cooking.”
Smyth, who previously cooked for Harry and Meghan’s 2018 wedding reception and counts them among her regular guests, praised the Duchess for her creativity and “good palate.”
Speaking to The Sunday Times, Smyth added: “She’s pretty good at filleting a fish.”
In the upcoming season, Smyth teaches Meghan how to prepare a healthy dish of poached halibut with seasonal vegetables and bone broth.
The pair reportedly visited a fish market together before incorporating produce grown in the Sussexes’ own garden.
The new season comes as Harry and Meghan extend their multi-year Netflix deal, with the streaming giant agreeing to a “first look” arrangement on future projects.
Meghan said the couple was “proud” to expand their partnership, tying it to her growing lifestyle brand.
With Love, Meghan season two premieres globally on August 26, featuring eight episodes filled with celebrity chefs, artists, and close friends.
